Welcome

Hello, my name is Aubree Saulpaw, I started Desert Roots Apothecary in 2019. At the time I had just discovered the word herbalism. Before then, I had no idea of this health path among the plants. I have followed my curiosity in psychology, nutrition, and personal training, and nothing stuck. I bounced around from different office and customer service jobs never feeling a full sense of purpose. I don't believe that we each have a single individual purpose, however, discovering herbalism was like discovering the spark that the pilot light of my soul was waiting for. I dove right into consuming and absorbing as much information as I possibly could. I began seeing my desert landscape with fresh eyes. I started working with the plants I was learning about and eventually started a small hand-crafted product line to share with my community. I even operated a small urban vegetable and herb farm with some brilliant people who were introduced into my life through herbalism. I have a burning desire to continue to work with and learn from these special plants, and most importantly, to share this with others.

My mission with my future clients is to approach concerns from a holistic perspective. Meaning that...   I operate on a belief that illness is not the enemy, it is the bodies way of communicating with us. Let us learn to listen, and act accordingly.
